I know it requires an NDA, the thing is I can't find what one needs to do to get into the forum and participate, if anyone could please point me to the right direction I would love to be part of that forum, and maybe help whatever is on the works there too.

You need to write to Steve and send him the NDA form located here: http://www.trolllord.com/newsite/downloads/docs/NDA.doc

And pretty much wait for him to reply more or less. You'll be waiting till at least monday. He's off to Lake Geneva at this point. ^_^

Unless you've got some way to electronicly sign and pdf' the document, thats usually the best idea.

FYI, be prepared to pester... I signed the NDA months and months ago and sent it, and even dropped off a few emails to make sure it was received and never heard back.

Is the CK forum a free-for-all thing for anyone who wants to sign an NDA? Or are the TLG folks choosy about who they grant access to, even with an NDA?

It is and it isn't. Which is really not a helpfull answer, I know.

Put it another way, its a forum for those folks who are serious about participating in development of the CKG, and who are dedicated to the C&C game in general.

Its not just a place to hang out and lurk, although a number of folks do.

After the initial development of the game we are a bit more choosy, yes. ^_^

I haven't had any replies either... NDA signed and sent about 3 months ago...

That's a decent confi. I notice though that there is no explicit right on the part of the DISCLOSEE to discuss Confidential Information with fellow playtesters, such as any discussions on the CKG message board. Arguably, posting to the board is a violation of the confi, unless you are claiming that everyone with access to that board is your "consultant." Also, although there's a few references to what you can (and can't) use the Confidential Information for, it's never really defined clearly what the permitted use is. There's an off-hand reference to playtesting in the Misc. section, but I'd be more comfortable with it is a more prominent spot.

Well, I sure hope that those on the playtester forum are regulars to the rules forum. That way the CKG is sure to have good representation from the fanbase.

All of the CKG participants are regulars, or, at least, use the rules forum. If they did not, they could not be on the forum in the first place, as a userid is a mandatory requirement. Some, such as specific people, post a lot more than others... but there is a wide array of opinions.

Personally, I wish there'd be more discussion(s). So, get on it!

It seems this will take longer than I expected, my NDa is still on Brazil though, but whenever it is delivered I wil know through tracking, so I can pester the trolls until they either decide on my NDA (and then there are the others) or they just block my mails and ban me from the boards.

I would really like to take a part on the CKG development, but if i can't, too bad.
