I have to agree with Arduin. You can get the pdf and have a printer do it for you in B&W. Yeah, not an ideal option but it is doable. However, I do feel your pain O-Slimy-One; I would like to see the books stay in the B&W matte format. Alas, progress has spoken.

I can't find a 4th printing pdf. And I'm not sure the new colour ones would come out well.
Oh woe is moi.

I am dragged into the blinding world o' colour kicking and screaming.

You can track down the older PDFs at a few stores. Strangely enough Paizo is offering PDFs of the 3rd printing and 5th printing but not the 4th printing.

Hey thanx Warunsun. Yeah, there's no 4th printing to be had.

Get the latest version in PDF then I would assume there is some software that will permit you to convert to black and white only..

As am I. Funny, that given my entry into the game being 2e with it's awesome artwork and glossy layout you would think I would be a color person. But, if the art is not by Caldwell, Elmore or the other 2e guys and does not have that 80s-90s fantasy feel; I want nothing to do with it in color. I'm sick that way.

I've actually debated whether to try and cut off the cover on my 4th printing and then glue the 5th printing cover on, but I'm worried I'd mangle things.

A more simple way maybe would to print off a full size shipping label with the cover you want. Peel and then stick.

You... MAY...just... have... solved my life's dilemna!
Can these shipping labels you speak of be placed in any old photocopier? Do they come in 8.5 by 11?

I have done it for board games myself. Never for a book.
What I'd like to see is 11" x 17" peel and stick labels, which they might have but haven't looked because I don't have a printer that can handle it.
Have game boxes I want to cover which usually the 11" 8.5" size doesn't work 100%.

I prefer the hefty paper stock of the B&W pages. But whats bad for me is the red ink in the newest printing. For some reason, my eyes have a hard time looking at it. Maybe I'm the only one but that red text is just hard for me to look at.

Yeah same here; I've tried to read the red text but I have difficulty even reading a sentence for some reason.
So looks like I can't do the new books.
