Keeper Advice Forum

Post by Mark Hall »

Since there doesn't seem to be a "Board Issues" forum here...

The Keeper Advice forum is really weirdly named. If you read the text, it says "Where CKs swap ideas and players figure out what's coming." Which you can't do, because no one but the authorized posters can post on it. It is, instead, a forum for RAW answers from approved answerers, which is fine to have, but not what the forum is supposed to be by the title or the description.

I like that. Not going to use it because I like mine better, but I do like that idea. -Treebore, summing up most home designers' philosophy

I would love for a "register as CK" button and ask your players not to and then all that CK could more freely share ideas and questions.. without our PCs snooping about... my PCs follow all my posts so I have to sit on all my cool ideas or great questions until after I throw them at the PCs... like my great new undead.... that's still 6 months off before I can share...

Ask them to not read your posts. If they are too immature to understand why that is a good idea. Replace them at the table.

Well, I'm not that authoritarian.. we do have that "rule", but that said, I'd like a place to be a bit more obvious they should not be.. not likely really possible.. but I do want them reading many posts, just not some.. a simple "CK or DM only" sand box..
