Sepia Snake Sigil?

Post by BASH MAN »

Is Sepia Snake Sigil a C&C spell? I don't see it in the first printing, but thought it might be in the second printing. I need to know for a conversion. If it has merely had its name changed, or there is a very similar spell in C&C, that'd be good to know as well.

Otherwise i will have to add the spell as a new spell for C&C.

Nope. The closest spell I can think of would be Resilient Sphere.

I know this is a different topic but I was wondering about the sword of wounding? It says that it drains a point of Con when it hits. Does it drain Con each time it hits a enemy and is there a saving throw?

Cheers

Officially? Yes, every time it hits, and no there isn't a save. I added one at CL 12, or CL=level of wielder, whichever is higher.

But I am thinking of removing it (the save) because I am finding it to not be that powerful and CON points can be easily restored via healing spells if they live through the battle.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Thanks Treebore that clears things up.

Except one more question; the ring of earth elemental command has Stoneskin as one of its powers yet the spell is not in the C&C handbook. Is there a C&C version of stoneskin or do you just use ( like me) the 2nd ed version.

SSS was one of my favorite spells...but largely because as written in UA, it duped some 9th-level effects at 3rd level.
