There are more than one. I dumped knights and paladins. I use 1 on a d6 to find secret doors (1-2 on d6 for elves).

A rule that is in the book? My House Rules show where I deviate, but I do not recall any I would absolutely refuse to use.

Encumbrance and Vancian spell memorization are probably the two main C&C rules I ditch.

For encumbrance I use the "eyeball it" method and for spells, I mostly allow casters to spontaneously cast any spell which they know, so long as they have available spells remaining for the day.

This probably goes without saying, but...

...illusionist healing.

I use the surprise rules from 2nd Edition AD&D.

Without looking directly at my house rules, I think these are the only things I "do different" because I'm not fond of the C&C method. I think everything else are add-ons to the rules.

Everything in M&T.

I prefer making up my own monsters and treasure. I also use a lot of stuff from other games.

95% of the PHB.

Prefer using my own races (which are sometimes classes) and the players almost always want a class that is not in the rules.

We use the SIEGE Engine, basically. Oh, and some of the spells. Probably the equipment as a baseline but I also add about double.

And... I have not used anything from the CKG except the deep dwarf. Once. As a NPC.

I might use more of the rules if I read them. But I've gotten used to just playing however seems best for me.
