Non-glossy!
While I like the glossy for the black and white print, I'm not sure how good it would like with the color books that TLG is doing and probably will continue to do.

I like both, but in the end...it has to be glossy. In a world of D&D 5th and Pathfinder, we need (bare minimum) the core books in glossy color. On the other hand I think the modules, as well as some of the other softcovers, are fine in black and white. C&C's modules (for example) are typically 2 or 3 dollars cheaper than the industry norm. That's a plus.

Non-gloss, non-color.
I do not want to have to etch in my coloring pencils.

5E and PFRPG are a very similar glossy (but not overly shiny) color. I prefer the 5E printing as being easier to read.
Also, 13th Age is a nice clean color glossy that looks good.
I actually prefer B&W but am not a zealot about it. I just don't like the reddish font that C&C used for their full color so have not bought hardcopy of the color books yet. That and I have SO many copies already I just don't need more.
One thing I'll mention is the new WotC adventure modules, the hardbacks, Hoard of the Dragon Queen, Rise of Tiamate etc from Kobold Press, actually has a colorized matte (paper feels like it should be B&W) that turned out great. The pages are heavy and crisp like B&W but there is a nice muted color to the print. I was surprised it turned out so well.

I think I will change my vote to glossy-color!!

I never write in my books, except my name, that is what I use sticky notes for, plus the third printing isn't "glossy ink", the paper itself is a gloss stock, and I don't recall any of my other RPG books being made with the same paper stock.
