Early issues of The Crusader, any value?

Post by donbaloo »

Wow, I posted this question 7 years ago and I'm back to do it again. That's blowing my mind. Anyway, I'm looking to get rid of my early Crusader issues 2-7 but I have no idea what to value them at. Are they hard to come by and occasionally sought out by fans/collectors or just junk box material?

I occasionally price compare my stuff, just so I can prove to the Mrs. that I'm not "wasting money." The last time I did that they were running anywhere from $3-$10 depending.

Thanks for the info Rigon. If you were selling issues 2-7, near mint condition, what would you value those at?

I'd probably sell them around $4-5.

Keep in mind that Troll Lord Games keeps all of these issues in print. We had them all (up through 27) at Gary Con. Number 1 was out of print for a time, but even it has returned in the later years. Anyway, good luck to you.

A 1st printing Crusader #1 is worth a decent penny.

Thanks for the help folks. I had no idea they were still in print and readily available so that drastically changes their potential value in my mind. I just let them go as a group for half of the subscription price, 11.50. Again, thanks you two!
