Is there an APP or program for generating PC's? If so, please leave me a link.

I know someone started it in HeroLab, but never finished it and wont be. :(

I just think in this day and age of computers, there should be one for most any games created now a days.

Thanks

There used to be a licensed character sheet, but I don't see it listed on Drivethru RPG any more, even though it is in my library. I only see the Ultimate Character sheet and the reference sheet pack.

Sounds like a good task for someone in the know, "in this day and age of computers".... you know, in this day and age of computers is one of the reasons my game is around a table, with paper and pencil, chalk and minis.. ;)

I did a partially automated character sheet in Excel 2007 about 5 yrs ago. Fill in dice rolls, pick from a couple pull downs and most everything else fills in...though it doesn't resemble the official C&C sheet layout.

I intended, and sort of still intend, to write a web based one, but haven't gotten to it yet and probably won't have much time until around March.

I was going to assist/take over ownership of this plugin from Boomer, however, after consideration I decided to to take a pass. The amount of work to 'fit' the C&C into the HL framework did not match the return (of effort). As much as I love C&C (it is my 'default' fantasy RPG these days), there simply is not a high demand for an automated character generation tool for this RPG. I have been slowly working on the C&C port for the Roll20 app. My personal campaign has been using an updated C&C sheet for several sessions and maybe I'll finish cleaning it up and submit it to GitHub for approval as the updated official character sheet for Roll20...

I admit I am envious that you have a face-to-face C&C game. I too would prefer to have a face-to-face game group, however, I believe my days of table-top gaming are behind me. The fact that C&C is a 'niche' system combined with the growing popularity of VTT software makes finding a group of C&C players online much more convenient these days. When I visit the local comic book/game shops, they are predominantly playing board games, Magic, or maybe D&D and/or Pathfinder. Thankfully I have found groups of online players (of which you are member :D ) that allow me to continue to enjoy gaming.

Aergraith, let me know if this ever becomes a certainty for you. I would love to discuss this project in greater (technical) detail and working together to create a solution.

My face to face game required me to find a bunch of those board game players and say, "want to try something new?" They did and we've been at it for slightly over a year. Its fun and social. Worth doing even if I'm old enough to be their dad.
