Where is this creature ability defined "in general"? Or is it creature by creature? I could not find it defined from a game mechanics point of view in PH, CKG nor in the front of the M&T. I'm sure its some place, but I can't find it.
Is there a spell that simulates this ability? Such that the character becomes incorporeal to avoid problems in the "real" or attack creatures in the incorporeal. Ethereal Jaunt?
Seems there are incorporeal undead in the ethereal or incorporeal creatures from other planes such as elemental air.

Being "incorporeal" is not defined in the C&C game beyond the abilities of certain monsters.
Look under the entry for Ghost on page 52, and Wraith on page 118 of the current printing of the M&T.

OK, That's what I found too. Plus the Belker has a slight twist, but basically seems the same. Now the Ethereal Jaunt seems similar but slightly different. Not surprising its not over defined, but just want to make sure I don't miss anything.

The Incorporeal keyword has no "standard" definition, as mentioned. However, Ethereal Jaunt is nothing like being Incorporeal. Ethereal Jaunt is merely a means to allow a creature to access the Ethereal Plane and travel. The Incorporeal ability doesn't involve travel in the Ethereal Plane at all but simply describes the creature's intangible nature. Unlike Ethereal Jaunt, Incorporeal is "always on".

So a cool new spell might be "Ghost Walk" which basically turns the recipient incorporeal in that location. Thoughts? I would assume 5th lvl or 4th would be good.. anyone want to take the idea, write it up and submit it to Treebore? I'd love a copy along the way to use immediately.

I think there is a spell out there that does that or something similar enough that I didn't consider it when researching things to adapt over or add in Capt. I'd have to go back and look through stuff to verify that though. (edit: Ethereal Jaunt in C&C as mentioned. Though 3.5 has wraithform, or is it ghostform, which I did not bother with since I didn't see that much difference between it and EJ in terms of benefits.)
