Castles & Crusades - Verdant Rage
Castles & Crusades - Curse of the Khan
Castles & Crusades - The Heart of Glass

There is an auction in my country for these adventures+ a PHB for $30. The problem being I just ordered another PHB (6 printing) literally last night from Amazon.

Of the three, I personally prefer The Heart of Glass.

Modules are picky. Or rather, people are when they use them. I'd suggest reading a synopsis.

Or, another way to look at it -- if there's not much C&C stuff available to you, grab up what you can to see what has been done and decide if you want to do things your own way.

I love Heart of Glass. For a CK, I think that Heart of Glass takes a little bit more effort to run, but that is because it is also a mini setting. I like the mood and the gritty darkness of Heart of Glass, very much.

Verdant Rage was the best adventure I've come across in years, so my vote's for that.

I haven't read the other ones.

I liked Verdant Rage.
Don't have Curse of the Khan.

I really like Heart of Glass!

You can definitely turn any of those 3 into a "good" adventure" In my opinion, the most difficult to do that with would be the Curse of the Khan, since I believe there are 3 in that series. Now if you have the others, this becomes as easy as any of the others to turn into a good adventure. Verdant Rage is also part of a series, but they are written in a very "stand alone" manner.

Yeah, Verdant Rage is definitely stand alone. It's second in a 'series', but it's for levels 3-5, and the next adventure is for level 9.
