I need the devil...

I really miss the old demons & devils from the 1st edition monster manual.
Any word on future C&C products with supernatural evil 'n stuff?

The book, Gods and Demons, is in progress. They were not included in Monsters and Treasure because 3 pages is simply not enough room to deal with the subject.

Why don't you just pull them out of the MM? Other than that, I'm sure Serelan has something worked up.

I CAN'T WAIT!
I do have the old books but it would be a fun way to spend more of my pay!

Because the MM lacks Peter's kickass art.

However, there is Trampier's art, who had done many of the infernals in the MM. I find his work has more impact, with that old woodcut feel to many pieces and bold confident lines to all of his work.

True. I do enjoy the style of alot of the MM pieces.

Hmmm... so Gods and Demons, 1001 Monsters, and of course the CKG... what else is coming out?
And hurry it up!

Dagnab teases. I had just now decided to try to not salivate over those books.

If you mean stuff I'm writing (not all TLG official)... well, I don't want to get people's hopes up, but:
Tome of Thaumaturgy (tm)
1001 Monsters (this may become volumes, instead, with the "collection" coming after the fact, to ensure that it gets done -- it is easier to do all the art for say, 250 beasts than 1001 at a time.) (tm)
Ruins and Radiation: SIEGEing the Apocalypse (tm)
Gods and Demons (tm)
The Crusader's Crucible (tm)
The Castle Keeper's Guide (I'm not writing it, but I am helping as much as I can) (tm)
The World of The Doldrums (tm)
Castle Zagyg: Yggsburgh Town Project (I'm "special consultant") (tm)
As for stuff I'm not working on, that I know is around the bend:
Sieg's Super-Hero SIEGE System, I think called: Victorious! (actually, playtetsing this myself, in a few days, or weeks -- up to the CK)
More of the Haunted Highlands by Bowbe
The Airdhe revision stuff and more A-series by Steve (and Davis)
More GFW works, and the revisions of older ones to C&C
There are other things I cannot divulge, and probably some I've forgotten, too.

You know, that's a very astute observation. The comparison fits...
I agree that it will be a grand day when the demons and devils come to C&C officially.
Until then, I've had little to no trouble converting them from other sources. Like the Tome of Horrors series!

I think once the CKG hits the market, it will open up a lot of doors for monsters of this calibre. It will probably be easier to write 1001, M&TII, and Gods & Demons when the rules for 12th" level things are woked out, officially.

You should check out mayfair games. They have their classic roleaids line, including several great supplements dealing with demons for sale REAL cheap.

There is the
Tome of the Unclean. Though, I think it has been awhile since the last update. Looks like it was in August 2015.

Yep, its been a loooong time since we've gotten any new material. Kim has been doing a nice job converting stuff, though, even if I have found some of them to be a little too weak.

They aren't the old material devils and what, but clavis did all those nasty (cool) devils and angels posted on pages 8 & 9 of the Monsters section here.

This looks like it's going to an awesome product once it's finished.
Like slimy, I too have often lamented the absence of demons and devils in Monsters & Treasure and Classic Monsters

.
Though Monsters & Treasure of Aihrde does contain some interesting demons and devils that aren't in any of the AD&D books that are worth checking out.

I really, really need to get this sucker printed out and spiral bound. Just at over 300 pages for this version, it ain't going to be cheap. I'd much prefer to get it in hard cover. I wonder if Peter has ever done a Lulu friendly version I could get them to print for me? Hmmmm... Peter, if the answer is yes, contact me.
