I recently discovered that Mayfair games was selling their catalog of roleaids supplements for AD&D for ridiculously low prices.

Many of these would be great for C&C. I'm particularly fond of the demons supplements. They are top-notch. Check it out.

The Fez modules are kind of cool, too, but only if you like a double dose of silliness and chaos in your campaigns.

I've never been able to place an order. When I tried to contact them by email, I received a message that the server had deleted my message as spam. Very poor customer service.

Sorry you guys are having trouble ordering. I didn't have any particular problems, although navigating the sight is something of a chore.

I always loved the rolaids stuff. Some of it has not aged well but somethings (demons, witches, lizardmen, dark folk) is awesome.

I picked all that stuff up at conventions over the years, for very low prices as well... however, not this low! There are some cool things to be found in the Roleaids line. Did this stuff just not see well back in the day, or did Mayfair produces oodles and oodles of this stuff?

Dang, I'll have to order this by phone or something. The link be broken! What a deal though! Several modules for 13 dollars!!! And these are hard copies! Unbelievable.

Since I or my group members have never used Role Aids before, this will be great for giving them adventures they've never seen before. We've all been to the caves of chaos and the isle of dread a few too many times...

I just ordered two of the sets, and am looking forward to their delivery. I remember these being just absolutely tremendous books 'back in the old days' and I'm sure they'll get a lot of use around my gaming table.

I found the stuff very hit or miss. However, the "hits" were homeruns and the misses were not complete strike outs. More like a "ball!"

Unlike some, I like the Demons stuff the most, because it is far more "true" to the line of thinking I enjoy.. the demons are nasty, at least, most of them and I like how they are listed with servitors and the like, making ana rmy easier to manage. The rest, I don't really have anything to say, but some of its ok. Oh, and I'm miffed about my copy of Monsters of Myth and Legend Volume III... I'm missing the first 22 pages.

For me, I found the Adventure pack to be very "miss" for me. The stuff was very railroadish by today's standards.

The biggest disappointment was the "John Carter of Marsish" adventure, Under Two Moons was almost like a solo rpg book ("If the PCs do this, go to Section A, III"). Practiaclly impossible to read in regular fashion.

It even had birds drop out of the sky with notes assuring the party they were on the right path if they let themselves continue to be bonded in slavery. Very bizzare.

Ha! Sounds like I was wise to avoid all the scenario books. Honestly, I rarely, if ever, run pregen scenarios for my group, so I saw no reason to get them.

The two I ordered were the "Worlds and Wonders" set, and the "Source and Backgrounds" set.

I might get the "Demons" set next time, but it doesn't look all that useful to me. I'm sort of burned out on horror-themed gaming right now, and trying to make my games a bit more 'uplifting'.

So, maybe I'll get that set after I've given the first pile a good read through. I do remember the "Apocalypse" boxed set being rather awesome when I first saw it ten years ago or so. Can't wait to look it over again.
