Well, ENWorld has now joined WOTC as a board I will no longer go to. Oh well. I 'm sure they won't miss me.

Yeah. EnWorld has long ranked on my "Places of Suck" list.

I just hope they can refund me my ENWorld supporter money. I bought several years worth to support them.

I think I am in my last year, though. If so I won't be too bothered if they don't refund it.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I didn't mean anything ill towards or about Treebore. He hit the nail on the head for me.

He's enjoying C&C without the feats and said so. I respect his thoughts on the subject and really agree with him. A couple of my friends needed the idea of "buying" feats so I came up with a solution.

Treebore did think my working up a list of feats as silly. So? As much time as I spent on the silly things he's right. I was silly.

Treebore, your feedback was helpful. It's a game. I always pick up on your posts, be it here, Necro, or Goodman. You got a good bead on fun as near as I can tell. Besides, your homestead is really keen!

Serleran, as to your question, yes adding the house rule of one free feat and buying extras has worked out swell. My wife loves having her bow fighter excel beyond the norm so she will sacrifice lots of xp to have her elf similar to Legolas in LoTR. My friend Ragnar1965 likes having "improved inititive (sp)" as a free feat for his characters. I don't have to mess with all the rules. It's completely on them.

At the end of the day, if everyone had a good time then all is well. Since I switched to C&C we all have smiles when it's time to end the day. What more can a group of friends ask for?

Gideon_thorne, if I ever post something that can be taken in an objectional manner, please let me know. Sometimes a post can have a very different "feel" when typing as to when reading. I truly don't mean to ever offend on the boards. If I ever have a strong disagreement with someone I'd send him a private message concerning the matter.

*smiles* Im just trying to keep the strong opinions down to a simmer.

If more folks would take the time to think first then post, there would be less reason for me to drop in the odd friendly caution. ^_^

I didn't see where I called your feat list silly. I do apologize for that. I didn't have a desire to risk insulting you.

Besides, I came up with my answer for feats for the reason you created your lists. To keep my players receptive to trying out C&C.

Now they don't even like running 3.5 anymore. When we played their campaigns they were in 3E, but they quickly hated how much they had to look up rules and keep them in mind. So everyone has switched to playing and using C&C in my house hold.

Plus with my system the list of feats is already written up by WOTC in their PH and the Complete books. Which is the only books we even want to use for inspiration as to what kind of actions we want to attempt with the SIEGE system.

But then you wouldn't have an excuse for padding your post count and posting your:

" ^_^ " type faces. Which I believe you just love to do.

Treebore, you are right. You didn't call the list silly. I took your statements as kinda saying that.

However, you could have said so without bugging me one bit. I'd be a poor fellow if I couldn't have someone call me silly! Geesh, ask my wife, any of my friends, church family, or blood kin and they'd say I'm silly too.

Besides, I sell college textbooks to college students. I've been called much worse by people!

Anyway, I still enjoy your avator because I love the memories of Diablo!

I have this ability to discern lies as a class ability, don't try to pull that one on me again.

That one is another one Pete just loves to use.

I just want to get my own title, like I used to have, before the Great Melt of EZ.

Umm.. exactly what would an increased post count have an effect on, in my case? My title doesn't change, unless I change it. ^_~`

Power! Didn't you know the Federal Reserve Board has been selecting their members from posters since Al Gore created the Internet?

Your ranking in the "Top 10 Posters". It is my belief you are currently dissatisfied with your place at number 5.
