How many of you use (A)D&D adventures as is...

...without really modifying them?

ie. Don't change monster stats, etc.

I've not changed a single thing about any pre-d20 modules, from Caverns of Thracia to Dark Tower and Ravenloft to Treasure Hunt and Barrier Peaks. I don't see the desire to "convert" with perfect precision or write it all out beforehand, when it can be done on the fly, in about 2 seconds.

I use 'em without conversion. Just fix the AC as I go.

Some of the Modules I've run with C&C have been:

Wrath of the Minotaur

Eye of the Wyvern

The Star Cairns

Return to White Plume Mountain

Return to the Tomb of Horrors

I know there have been others, just can't think of 'em right now.

I'd like to get my hands on The Shattered Circle again and run that using C&C.

I only change the AC as I go. 20 - Listed AC = New AC.

I have run:

Assault on Raven's Ruin, and The Dragon's Den [Boxed Set] using C&C and no conversion at all.

I ran "Against the Giants".
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Me too. Same story for B/X modules: I don't bother with any "formal conversions."

For d20 modules, I'm about at a 50/50 split. Occasionally it takes a little more thought process to convert on the fly but its not too hard to do either. Major villains I'll generally do a full conversion of .

Put me in the camp with DD; just invert AC.

Wrath of the Minotaur and Eye of the Wyvern are great starter mods, very well suited for C&C.

Yeah, I loved 'em when they first came out. Sure they were cluttered up with introductory to the game stuff but I didn't care, I loved the feel of those two mods.

NO major changes here. In fact I am prone to changing the C&C rules to fit the module. That is why I worked up the alternate XP matrix.

Yeah - real easy to just convert AC on the fly with M&T handy.

The B series are especially easy to run.

Two that I've done that ran very, very well were C1 Hidden Shrine and X1 Isle of Dread.

I also do not convert anything before hand. Just run and go. However I've only really done this with Keep on the Borderlands.

I don't feel comfortable winging spell selections for NPC casters on the fly. They are often quite similar (at least many in the ToEE seemed to be similar to what C&C counterparts would have), but I like to not have to think that much when running a game (to figure out bonus spells, substitute for spells not included in one version or the other) and I like to be mostly honest with NPC spellcasters and keep them to a list of prepared spells, just as the PCs have to.
