Is the errata that is a sticky used for 2nd edition books also or is it for the first edition books?

There isn't a first or second "edition," but a printing, and the sticky here is for the 2nd printing. You can find the errata for the 1st printing at Traveller's site. If you have the 2nd printing, then the errata has already been included into the book.

Many thanks for that, Moriarty - just wondering, however, if the adjustment to the assassin's Poison table is going to be included at some point? Or is that for 3rd printing purchasers only?

Unfortunately, the revisions (changes) to the table are not really errata. The original table is still very usable and I think some may still use it (with adjustments to costs).

The good news is that the new tables are not restricted to only the 3rd printing of the PHB. I think that the upcoming 2nd printing of the M&T will have it as well and the new Dragons of Aihdre (Miasmal Wyrms) accessory has it. This newer accessory is available in print and I've also seen it at RPG Now. It's entirely possible that it might appear in other TLG publications too but nothing else has been announced yet. I know some people had expressed a desire to see the new poison rules available as a download but I don't know if this is actually going to be done.

The significant difference (besides values) is they simplified the charts. Instead of itemizing names of poisons like the 2nd printing, they've put it into categories... Type I though VI with VI being the deadliest. Not quite the same effect as being informed that you've been poisoned by a Type V but it does provide a simpler consistency. Of course, I think if I find the time, I might just assign 'Types' to the poisons listed and adjust the costs accordingly. Sort of a 2nd print conversion to the 3rd print guidelines.

This is correct.
