I ordered from Noble Knight Games and got both Goodman Modules and the Paizo module. Plus ordered another Goodman module and NEcromancers "Mother of All Treasure Tables".

They sent my my "your order has been shipped" e-mail a couple of hours ago.

So if you can do it from work, place an order from Noble Knight Games and see what you can get.

Except NKG took half an hour to process my shipping selection and by then, the stuff I wanted from free day had gone out of stock,so, good luck....

Yeah, and I did mine at 3 AM EST, which is midnight PST.... so, yeah. Where is the store located? Maybe they were using local time to determine if "Free RPG Day" had started yet, which would explain how I could order before you, and get nothing. No big deal, really, but it was annoying.

Anyway, I have friends, hopefully, looking into some other stores. If I get something to send to you, I will Mister Leprechaun. ;)

They don't automatically add free stuff to your shipment. I had to actually go to each publishers list of stuff and find and select the free stuff in order to get it.

Plus you actually pay a penny because of how Nobl Knights system is set up.

So if you thought like I initially did, that there would be some kind of link to the list during checkout, there isn't. I had to back out and hunt them down myself.

Umm, I did it exactly correctly (its not some overly complex thing,) and put the item in the cart and everything, but it doesn't matter, now. I just managed to order the two C&C items, and not the other I wanted (out of stock since way early this morning,) but oh well. I'll get something from it. Of course, it kinda sucked that I messed up and didn't combine the order, so I had to buy two other things (minimum of $9.95 + S/H) to get them, but its all right since I wanted them anyway.

I was lucky enough, I was looking to order from them anyway -- I noticed TLG's 'Paths of the Magi' for $6.95 *new* and didn't have Crusader #5 yet.

The freebies were posted up on NKG sometime shortly before Midnight EST when they seem to do a lot of their site updates. The confirmation email I received stated 10:28pm and I had already taken some time looking through other things on the site. I received my shipping confirmation email about 12 hours later.

All in all, I grabbed (ordered) the C&C Quickstart Rules, the Imperial Town of Tell Qa (Wilderlands of High Adventure), and Goodman's DCC.

I don't expect to see them for another couple of weeks though. Can someone tell me what they look like?

Yeah, I tend to over complicate things, or expect them to be too easy.

Are the quickstart rules going to be made available as a download here?

A post was made that indicated that would happen. But it hasn't happened yet and I have seen nothing further said about it.

If it remains a free product I'll get Gideon to see if those of us who have it on PDF can freely share it. Or, hopefully, the Trolls will distribute it freely via their website.

This would probably be best... and boy would I have a few folks to send their way...
