C&C stats for a Mongoose

Hi,

I have an elf wizard in my C&C Agmier game and I was going to give him a Mongoose as a familiar. However, I have been unable to find the creatures stats in any version of D&D that I have. Does anyone out there in Internet land know where I can find a write-up?

They may well be in The Book of Familiars, for d20, by TLG. I don't recall, but they'd not be difficult to write up. Would have few, if any, "special" abilities, anyway. Probably a 1d4-1d6 HD animal, animal Int. The only ability I can think of would relate to them vs cobras... and that would require a Physical save to negate the rapid strike, but it would only be useful against cobras and other poisonous reptiles. Note, the mongoose wouldn't have any resistance or immunity to the poison itself... it could just keep the snake from attacking it first, in theory. Not terribly useful against a giant poisonous snake with 10 HD though....
