Our C&C journey so far...

Post by Loggahead »

All,

Well posted here around 1-2 months ago and said hello and that I was glad to have found C&C. To fill any of you in, we were a group of older gamers looking to start up a rules-light rpg in the vein of old school D&D. Through many recommendations, we found C&C.

So where are we now? Well we bought the core rules and are now up to 6 players + the gm! Our GM is running us through a Gygax oldie that he had in his closet, "Caverns of Chaos" which is set in the Greyhawk world.

All that to say, we are having a blast! We got 2 guys hooked who had NEVER played a tabletop rpg and who don't play video game rpg's either. We talked them into "just trying it out" and after the first night they got hooked and are regular attendees!

So, just wanted to thanks to the C&C crew for making such a killer game that is so easy to get into and get people interested!

Glad to hear it, especially as it pertains to those who've never played a RPG before! Excellent news, and another in the stories of "those who nearly got away." :)

Always great to hear about new blood being brought back into the fold. Good luck in the Caverns... I envy the players, new to the game venturing forth into the Caverns of Chaos... awesome! Some fond memories will develop I'm sure. All the best.

I sure will! As soon as I have a moment to compile our adventure up till now, I will get it posted.

Would this be better suited in a different forum or is it ok here?

Most put summaries or journals in the Crusades forum.

Glad you guys are enjoying the game!
