Hail and well met to all of you. Long time lurker, first time Castle Keeper here
I read at one time that someone had broken down the various costs of the class abilities, BtH progressions, Hit Dice, and everything else that makes up a character class on paper. I think it was intended for use in creating custom classes/professions. Does anyone have a link to that breakdown?

The fighter class is great as is, but what houserules do folks use in their games regarding their class abilities? For example, in older D&D editions, I seem to recall they attracted followers at 9th level or so, but in C&C only knights have that perk.

Lastly, I just received my copy of After Winter's Dark, and I have to say Well Done! It was exactly the flavor my group and I were looking for. Thanks for putting out such quality stuff, Troll Lords!

In the Monsters & Treasures book, there are rules for followers and strongholds for all of the classes.

Welcome to the Crusade!

Unfortunately, the details for class Deconstruction can no longer be posted by the author since it is covered by a NDA. However, there are some interesting little things in this thread that mentions this which also includes stuff that might come in handy if you wish to play around a bit:

The next time we see some of this Deconstruction material will be in a more 'official' capacity which I hope will be in the forthcoming CKG.

Hope that helps a bit...

Want a fast and dirty method for buying abilities for classes thats already in the book? See page 88 of the M&T, column 2 and the 2nd full paragraph down.

"Magic items using the life force of another party."

It's already there.. why re-invent the wheel?
