Converting 3.0 campiagns that go "Lvl 1 to 20"

I'm having the idea of combining a grand premade campaign (Dragon's Shackled City) with CnC.
Beyond converting monsters and expanding the XP charts to Lvl 20, are there any other challenges I need to know about?
For example, I seem to remember hearing that CnC characters advance much slower than 3.0 characters, thus do I something like make up more adventures or give out bigger XP awards.
