Hello All,
Green Slime is slotted to make an appearance in next weeks game. Knowing the potential difficulties with the monster, I'm doing a little research prior to the game.
Question I have though...where in the PH or M&T is the effects of Constitution Damage explained (duration, permanancy, effect, etc)? I can't seem to find it anywhere. If you would be so kind as to point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
Also...does the creature do 2d6 in constitution damage each round or just once??
Any other comments or advice on running the Slime in C&C are also welcome!!
Thanks!!

I don't think it is, specifically. But I imagine that the loss of con points will have certain specific effects. Loss of hit points for one.
Its just me, but I'd do a 'per round' roll until the substance is removed. Might use the guide suggested on metal destruction to gage how fast it goes through flesh. I'd say a lot quicker.
Cure disease as mentioned and any spell or potion designed to restore HP seem to be the 'cure' for this ill.

When Con = 0, you die, with no save. Lost Con causes the loss of HP when there is a change to the attribute modifier (ie, if you drop from an 18 to a 3, you lose 6 HP / HD). Then, it depends if its permanent damage or temporary on how easy it comes back - temporary is 1 / day or week, at the CKs discretion (the more active the PC is the slower it should heal) and permanent is well, permanent (healed only by application of magic.)
Green slime is, basically, per touch... so, per round if it gets on you. You die quickly. If you happen to get covered by two or more, you might as well write up a new character.
