Castle Keeper's Guide--and other questions

Post by chiggins1066 »

I've been out of the loop for a while. What is happening with the Castle Keeper's Guide?

Also, I see some references to mass combat and sieges--where are these rules?

There was this in the Troll Con VI thread:

So in case you guys missed Steve's latest blog entry, let me post it here for all those attending or thinking of attending TrollCon this year.
The Castle Keeper's Guide is on schedule to be released exclusive for Troll Con attendees!!

As is with everything TLG, this is not set in stone, but Steve and Co. are working diligently to ensure that the CKG will be available for purchase at Troll Con.

We are also working to add to our honored guest list and should have an announcement very soon concerning that.

As always, stay tuned for more info, and feel free to contact me with any questions you my have about Troll Con.

Thanks,

As happy as I am that things are moving along nicely enough... something like this irritates me.

There is no hope in the 9 hells that I'll be able to attend the Troll Con ... or pretty much any of the usual TLG supported Cons.

We need a Troll Con East damn it!

Either CKG or a Haunted Highlands thing, and, depends which of the authors "makes it first." Bowbe and sieg have been working on such things, and I know Bowbe's saw playtesting at GenCon. They have not been released yet, and probably won't be released as a stand-alone product. But, this is just rumor (except some fact) so, who knows is Steve, those involved, and whatever.

Working on it. Seems everyone prefers Albany, which is just a bit too far for me to just walk around and see what's up (its 4-5 hours away, roughly.)

Or perhaps you guys could just set up shop at Dragoncon here in Atlanta.

Don't make me down there!
Albany is a good compromise in terms of possible location... It's a 5-6 hour drive from Montreal and 'close' enough for other Canadian fans living around Toronto or Ottawa to consider.

Of course... should the C&C fan base continue to grow, I'd be happy to help set up a Troll Con North!

Atlanta might as well be Little Rock. Only been to both once.

Albany's about 3-4 hours from me (depending on traffic on the NJ Turnpike!) and I'm in South Jersey. I would definitely want to make that. I've been to Montreal for a Philadelphia Flyers/Canadiens game and we passed Albany on the way up.
