Death Attack Saves

Post by areola »

I just want to clarify if the death attack is based on CHA or CON? It seems there's a confusion between the two attributes..

If you mean the assassin death attack, its based on Con.

I guess you could make a save vs death based on Charisma when the attack is against the will to live, or against the force of one's being. These types of attacks (which are not part of the C&C game as is) can be combined with a Save or Die affect based on CHA.

Its both, either, or neither, all depending on what it is... an actual save vs. death (such as a sly living spell) is Cha-based as it tries to destroy the soul... not the body, so it depends on what the effect actually does as to which attribute is being used. The same is true for all the attributes, and the book says so.
