I'm sure this has been beat to death. But before you lynch me, I have "searched" and read the different threads on this.

Is there any release date?? Any update on progress??

This book should be FANTASTIC for all the time its taking.

Can we get some info on what its going to contain? Perhaps the Index page.

Thank you.

The last announcement indicated a tentative possible release by Troll Con, but no one knows, and no one will know until Steve says something.

I think there was hints that the CKG would be later then TrollCon. Though, now that TrollCon is not where it's going to be, it might possibly get pushed back. So who knows.

When Steve knows I am sure we will see a banner ad announcement about it.

Until then just assume its a long ways off, because it probably is.

http://trolldens.blogspot.com/ Check the latest blog. There's your update. Good as it gets for now, I'm afraid. ^_~`

Wow, scary. I've been mentioned a few times on the blog... must be a sign that my tenure is ending.

I've read the blog and in my mind, that makes a lot of sense. If you can actually end up having a handful of copies of this for GenCon... that would be wonderful.

However, the one question I have (concerning cover art and format) is will it match up with the look of the 3rd print PHB and 2nd print M&T? I know that there were recent changes with the module look (and coloring) from the recent ones (like A4 for example) which is why I ask. And... if you have no idea at this time, I guess it's something to consider.

If you only had an idea of how much some of us are dyin' here waiting for this book. Yes, I've got some notion of what's going to be in it. Yeah, we know it ain't supposed to be the "Second Coming!", but man... We do want it bad.

Looks like it MIGHT come out in time for my B-Day or in time for x-mas.

My guess would be that it'll be ready for GenCon '08 but I'm pretty bad at guessing.

Still, I can't wait to see this book. It should be full of all sorts of goodies for fine-tuning your C&C game!

Heh, I was just thinking as I saw this thread title . . . and thinking of the other threads about the highly anticipated release of this book. It's certainly generated loads of interest, discussion, speculation, opinions, etc., etc.

Heh, and so I'm smirking to myself here and wondering how much activity ~ threads, posts and discussion are going to fly after the book is released and peeps have a chance to look/read and then comment!

Methinks it's gonna be a fun ride to participate on that roller coasters, no??

Personally, I think the CKG has the potential to drive this game to the next level. Even if one doesn't use the suggestions as written in the book, I think it will spark CK imagination and raise CK empowerment to the MAX!!
