Conversions

Post by daddystabz »

I have seen some tips that people have on how to convert monsters from D&D 3.5 over to C&C but how would you all suggest doing the same for Star Wars Saga Edition? I am getting ready to run a Conan campaign based in Sword & Sorcery Saga by the Gneech, which is a complete conversion of Star Wars Saga Edition into sword and sorcery style games. I would like to use the mobs in the Mongoose Conan RPG bestiary and from 3.5 in this game but was wondering what conversions many of you all would make to these monsters, if any, to use in the Saga rules?

Thanks in advance!

This belongs in the d20 section. This forum is about rules for C&C, not for converting one system to a different, not-C&C system. And, the defense that "Saga" and C&C are close enough to not matter is irrelevant. There are forum "rules" for a reason.

LOl....I imagined putting this in this forum because this is where I had discussed conversions into C&C so I was wondering what the difference would be according to some people to convert into Saga. I was hoping to discuss both.

I would think it would belong in this forum. Unfortunately, I don't know the Saga Rules to offer much help.

Best,

I cant be much help in converting SAGA to C&C, but I think your post is in the correct forum here. I hope you get some help but Im not familiar with SAGA.

I don't see the point in converting SAGA to C&C, but pulling things from SAGA into C&C would be better...

If you want Star Wars Saga, I'd just play it as is.

I was speaking specifically of converting MONSTERS from 3.5 and C&C into Saga Edition stat blocks. I have seen several threads of converting 3.5 monsters into C&C so I was wondering what would be different in converting them into Saga Edition, for those of you more knowledgeable on Saga Edition, since it is more similar to out of the box D20 than C&C.
