Ranger Signs?

Another quick question:

I've got a Bard in a campaign I'm starting and noticed under the Legend Lore ability a mention of Ranger signs... I can't seem to find a mention of is under the Ranger class (but I could be just blind).

I figure it might work similar to the Rogue's Cant abiltiy or possibly leaving marks or trails in the wilderness as a sign for other Rangers.

Could anyone shed a bit of light if I'm missing something (or if I'm completely off the mark)?

Thanks again!

That's what I assumed it was. The sort of stuff you'd learn in survival classes, or Boy Scouts. Not really a spoken language, but more physical, in the sense that, say, three stones means "campground," or "danger," but it might also cover pictograms and whatnot.

Hackmaster has an EXCELLENT list of signs for rangers or others who may be interested in Woodslore.

Also do a check in Hobo Signs. I have been using similar stuff in my game for rangers and some adventurers.

Sounds good to me.
