No idea, my Googling makes me wonder what this is about, because I found only stuff for hair, avatars, and comic books.

My Google-Fu came up with this
I have existed from the morning of the world and I shall exist until the last star falls from the night. Although I have taken the form of Gaius Caligula, I am all men as I am no man and therefore I am... a god.

My 10 cent pencil is more handy.

Having used a fair number of complex systems and electronic tools that helps with "character builds", etc. I have to say that for C&C, I tend to agree with you (for most cases). The main situation in which I'd see a tool like this be helpful for C&C might be for online play (either chat-based or pbp) as it could greatly facilitate the sharing of character/game info. I mean online play can go pretty slow anyway.

I've looking with interest at Hero Lab's 'authoring kit' when it gets released this year - you'll be able to add in new systems to Hero Lab. I use it for d20 and WoD and it's a nice character generator. Doesn't do C&C though. Yet.

I agree there. I've had metacreator for awhile now. I originally bought it for SW. It is irritating enough to me that I'd rather use a pencil.

Same thing with RPGXplorer.
