Blind fighting
How would one perform this in a C&C fight If there were no light sources and it was completely dark and know one had any special vision?

I would say, off the top of my head, that the attacker would ahve to have a good idea where his foe was (directly in front of, to his left side, etc.) and make an attack roll. I would probably impose a 50% miss chance on the attacker. And again, only if he had a good idea where his target was.

Probably what serleran said - I don't have the PHB in front of me (and don't know the modifiers by heart).

Well, normally I'd wait for the enemy to hit me first; once that happened I'd have a good idea of where they were and start swinging. If I couldn't let them have that first shot, I'd duck, extend my sword or axe, and do a 360 degree spin. When I felt the weapon hit my opponent I knew where they were and could start hammering!
Oh, wait. You meant in C&C...right? Sorry. Yeah, I'd handle it with the above as Serleran said.
Sorry...never mind, Nothing to see here, move along.
