Compatability With D&D Subsystems

One thing that has been hitting me of late is that I might want to make use of some of the WotC subsystems, such as the Expanded Psionics Handbook, Tome of Magic, or Dragon Magic. What I'm worried about, though, is that these products may not see much use if I have to convert everything.
How would you guys handle this?

This is where your skill as a DM will come into play. What I do when I want something from 3e in my C&C game, I play it in my head and see how it turns out. From that if it's not a direct fit, I adjust it appropriately.
You may have to convert a lot. But if it's something you really want in your game, it can be worth it.

I currently use Tome of Magic in my C&C campaign almost as-is. The only conversion I really do is the saves, and we do that on the fly.
Reflex=strength or dexterity
Fortitude=constitution or charisma
Will=Intelligence or wisdom.

I'd love to know how that worked out for you. I've recently picked up the Tome of Magic after reading a bit about it over on ENWorld and I think it's a really well done and imaginative book. If you have any bits to share regarding its use in C&C please share.
