Im a vast fan of Michael Moorcock, and his Eternal champion stuff (elric, hawkmoon etc etc)
I rather enjoy Chaosiums BRP system, and the Stormbringer RPG, but I cant help but wonder if C&C might not also work well, for an eternal champion based thing. You could borrow liberally from old planescape and the various planar information as well

I'm sure it can. Essentially, all one needs to do for C&C is determine attribute associations, and the rest is rather simple.

Or you could just buy the d20 version of Stormbringer, Dragon Lords of Melnibon and convert that way.

That's not a bad idea there.

It's not a good idea as it seems. Dragonlords of Melnibone shows how a d20 version of Stormbringer should NOT be done. You find all the d20 stuff which is not appropriate to the Stormbringer theme, which has been "hammered in" so that it could be used. And the system to handle Demon evocations is at best shaky. Overall, one of the worst investments I made.

On the topic of Moorcock, I have been interested in reading his stuff, but I am unsure what novel to begin with. Any recommendations?

I picked this up as well, and I agree I was very unimpressed with it as well. Perhaps it could still be mined for ideas.

I'd start with Elric of Melnibone. That's the first Moorcock book I read about 25 years ago. I was in high school at the time. People made fum of me reading a book with Moorcock on it.

Thanks! I will try and find it at the library, if not, on to Amazon!

I'm finding it very scary how adaptable the SIEGE engine is for any game that uses d20 as the base for its mechanic, or percentile.
