Hobgoblin Hit Dice?

Post by Sakusammakko »

How many HD do Hobgoblins have?

I know this seems quite trivial, but the M&T manual that comes with Fantasy Grounds II says 3d10. That seems out of whack with other sources.

Unfortunately, my printed M&T manual is winging its way over the sea and I'd like a quick answer.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Indeed.

Hey, quick question - is FG "editable?" If you find an error like that, are you able to fix it and save it so you have the correct stat? I come from ETools and in there you could fix stuff like that.

They have, like all monsters, as many hit dice as they need to kill you.

Thank you and yes

First off, thank you for the info on the Hobgoblin HD. Seems like such a small thing, but kinda important to get right. It makes me wonder about some of the other C&C numbers in FGII, though...

As for making changes, it's easy to change the numbers on the fly. I'm not sure if the changes to the original M&T manual stick, but it's possible to make copies of any M&T creature.

I'm adapting some of the classic monsters in line with the new Pathfinder book and I'm creating a new mini Monster Manual. Pretty simple really.

Any other FGII questions? I've enjoyed working with this program, though I'm no expert on it.
