The revised barbarian in the 4th printing

Any chance of getting some hints as to the nature of the changes made to these beloved characters of high fantasy?

I heard they now get followers at 3rd level but only two 0 level females clad in a chainmail thong. Roll for race and Cha naturaly.

I went ahead and added this new rule and my player Barb rolled a dwarf and gnome. The gnome's cha is the highest at 9
