Spell Question: Ray of Enfeeblement

Post by BASH MAN »

I have a question about ray of enfeeblement. Because I only have the first printing there is an error that I am unsure of. The short description of the spell says it drains 1d4 STR +1/2 Caster Levels. THe long description says it drains 1d4+Caster Level STR. Clearly, that is a big difference. I am wondering, in the second printing, which is it?

The spell doesn;t work like that anymore. First, ray of enfeeblement makes all of your PHYSICAL PRIME scores, NON-PRIME for the duration of the spell. The recipient of the spell gets a 1- to hit, -1 to damage based on the level of the caster. Can't remember the exact progression on this.

-1 attack and damage for every 4 levels of the caster.
