Trolls and Regeneration

So, Trolls are said to regenerate 3 rounds after they have been wound (like in AD&D), while on p.5 the Regeneration ability is said to start the round after the first wound. Which is correct? It can make a HUGE difference!

I also thought so, but then, considering that they completely regenerate, I think it is balanced as it stands.

This is what I prefer about old school and C&C. There are similar abilities but no one-size-fits-all like 3.5e uses. It doesn't make sense that everything regenerates at the same rate - either in this world or the fantasy one.

[off topic]I had the original with all the expansions then I lent it to a friend who lost it. But then I bought all the stuff again through ebay. I scanned all the images into my computers (cards, boards, counters, etc) and wrote a computer version of it using all the scans. It was primarily used by my brother so we could play over skype. I'd have the board set up, he'd have the game set up.
But since then I have lost the application itself and the project files - but still have all the scans.[/off topic]

That sounds excellent. if you should ever get a talisman game going again, please let me know.

I too at one time had all of the Talisman expensions and then about 9 years ago or so i sold them them all off (including Talisman Dragons 8) ). I made a good deal of money on the transaction, but in the long term I miss the game so. I learned it wasn't worth the sale overall...
