Introducing New Players

Post by Khorvus »

First off, I want to say I meet the Troll Lords at CONTACT in Tulsa about 4 years ago, and that is how I became interested in the line of games. I bouth the Codex of Erde and had a great time sitting in on the game, plus they were just cool guys to hang out with.

So when C&C came along, I was more than happy to give it a try.

It has actually made me miss rolling d20's, and that is abold statement coming from a HERO rpger.

I want to get my group into a C&C campaign. I have talked about it for years, but I am getting a some resistance. The feel and the simplicity are some of the great appeals, and I miss that old school fantasy game.

I want to run a module, which one would you all suggest for a beginnig GM and players? The group has played D&D in the past, so I do not think it will to big a grasp for them.

Is their a hand out that is available for new palyers? Ideally I would like to have them purchase the books, but I think they will want a trial run before buying.

Keep up the great work Trolls!

OK, a couple of things here:

1st: Any good old low level addy can be used with easy, such as B2. Or you could go with The Rising Knight or A Lion in the Ropes. Both are set in Erde and both are free.

2nd: You can purchase C&C Condensed and print it out for your players so they can get a feel for the game before buying the books.

Hope that helps and welcome to the Crusade.
