A wealth of infromation for C&C

Post by lobocastle »

Certainly there is a great deal of information within the links sticky posted above, which I use often. I did come across some old school D&D sites though and was fascinated with the wealth of information that I could use for my campaign. Some examples are as follow:

OSRIC

Basic Fantasy

GORE

Labyrinthlord

They can all run as stand alone games but I prefer C&C game mechanics.

Yep, they have a lot of stuff to mine, even freebie adventures and such.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

The entire pantheon that is the RPG hobby and tradition can be used, just like it has always been able to be used, if one simply wishes to spend the time to make it so -- for example, I have stuff in C&C derived from Shadowrun and Battletech (yeah, you read that right), and many other games like Palladium Fantasy or The Arcanum, and even Arduin. Flexibility is a fun thing.
