HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND UPDATES!!!

Greetings all!
It has been sometime since I have had the chance to turn to Society matters, mainly because of an insane fall semester where I teach and a family medical situation, but today I have managed to go through and catch up all outstanding membership registrations (and there have been A LOT over the past several months - my apologies to those who may have signed up some time ago and have been going "what happened?")
The Trolls have been pretty much inundated with all things CKG for most of the last half-year, so the Society was something that languished a bit between that, my own inattention due to life, and other factors, but we are still here, still looking toward the future!
Eric Piper, who has taken up a large portion of leadership, has established a more interactive site for the Society:
http://castlesandcrusades.ning.com/
All members are encouraged to go to the site and join (sorry we can't just do it automatically) - now, this is currently a trial site and we will have to deal with some financing to fund it permanently. I will be putting some forward personally to help out with this, and we'll be looking to see how to do it from there. Eric is looking for someone to help out with the "tech" design for the site as well.
The intention is that this site will allow for a LOT more interactivity on a lot of Society fronts, letting members post, blog, share files, videos, all sorts of things. The www.cncsociety.org site will continue as an adjunct, as my "High Squire's Corner" where I will continue to update memberships ("The Rolls") for the time being. The good news is the troll email account has been updated of late and it's a LOT easier to send out mass membership emails, which I hope to be able to do more often now in the future.
PLEASE check out the site above and join on in to that new Society feature!
Alea Iacta Est!
