Thanks, folks. I want to make the place a fun and interesting place, but less focused on rules and so forth (there is a place for them, of course.)

Bumping up again as we prepare to release Domesday #2.
I know many out there approach this with sort of an attitude of "eh, I got excited several years ago and it went nowhere." However, if it weren't for the society we wouldn't have C&C today. There's a lot we can do in support of the gaming hobby, so please come on over, check out the new forums and the new download site and join back up.
In coming weeks and months we'll finally be getting the rolls back in shape and reposted, as well as embarking on some additional colaborative projects (netbooks, guidebooks, etc.) for online distribution.

I joined up as well.
It's important to have people of Earl/Marshall status on board.

You are lucky, Fin.
So many of us have been waiting for years to have our names inscribed in the Doomsday book.
But the flicker of fire that yearns to burn for the Crusade . . . slowly dies out!

Don't worry big guy- I'll make sure your name is inscribed in the next issue. In fact, I think an updated proclomation with all the members listed on it would be in order for the next issue. I'll bring it up to Robert and John.

Thanks Morty. I think it would be very important to get the Society webpage (Doomsday Book) updated. Something that should have been done years ago.
Hmmm, the new page doesn't look as magnificent as the old webpage (from the old site). Can't find the link at the moment to show y'all what I mean.
Anyway, thanks to all your efforts along with Seskis, serleran and all who are contributing to the publication.
Many folks have mention this on these forums several times.

The "new" pages are just temporary.
My site will be a "working" area to get updates done whilst we work to restore and reinvigorate the Society area on the main site in (knock on wood) the near future.

I know how you feel Rhu -- it is exactly why the Society is doing what it is doing. I will be speaking with Steve soon about a more active Troll participation. That is something that has been lacking for a very long time, and if we are to survive, we need to know if we will do it on our own... or with Troll help.

I've registered at the C&C Society forum. I hope to spend some time reading posts and such - getting caught up as it were.

No way, I got on a forum before Ross? (at least two hours earlier)
This indeed must be a sign of the end!

A sign of the . . . changing of the guard! Vanguard. It's up to you to go to all the best forums and spread the word!! Hmm, interesting choice of phrasing on my part.
I mean the C&C word!!! Convert the masses - lead the Crusade - recruit the Knights . . . all for gaming. Pick up your swords, ye gamers - and then pick up the dice ~ and ROLL!!!
I've got to back off these many forums, so I can catch up on my readings and projects at home.
So, limited posting here and there and everywhere else. Yes, it's time - or let's say I need to better manage it.

No, don't go Rhu!
First, Julian's been extremely polite and level-headed lately
Second, Slimee got the mod's all upset some time back (poor boy) .
Third, my LA buddies will probably be leaving soon.
Don't go, Rhu! Times are a changing too fast for me.
Haha, no worries. I'm not going to go, just spend less time around the forums. Summer is such a busy time for me, so I just need to curtail my online time. Don't want to, 'cause I really enjoy the relaxation of it.

LOL!!!
Col, what the heck? Didja delete your post?? Hehe.
Man that is funny.
I was about to respond - re: Julian Grimm. Haha, his posts are level headed and polite . . . because he HASN'T BEEN POSTING!!!
Oh, and slimy is . . . . A SLIMEBALL to the max. He needs to stay offline to cure his addiction to VERY BAD metal vids.
Lastly, the Trolls are excellent fellows, so I'm not sure why you said they were BIG ARKANSAS ASSHOLES!
Really Col, that was a bit much!!
OK, enough verbal vomiting from me . . . you take over!

Yeah, Rhu. I deleted it because I was afraid someone might be offended at my poor attempt at humor.
Besides, I can't call the Trolls that! I haven't lived in Southeast Missouri for nearly seven years! (In my experience, most people in Missouri make fun of everything in Arkansas. Of course, in Illinois, we make fun of people in Chicago! ).
Glad to hear your just cutting back and not cutting forums out altogether.

In my experience most people make fun of Arkansas regardless of where they live. However, the most beautiful woman I have ever seen lives (or lived) there. People complain about all of the inbreeding there, but if it makes women like that I don't really care.

I very much enjoyed my trip through Arkansas some years ago. People are friendly - although I find that to be true when gets out of a large city.
Heh, I'm from Chicago and can understand how people don't like or make fun of Chi-town residents. I sure don't like some of my city brethren.
Gary and I joked about FIBs (F'in Illinois bastards) and flatlanders a lot. I'm a classic case . . having gone up to LG in 1973 and got arrested and thrown in the CAN!! Hey, it was all about a girl!
Of course, Gary excused me as he was a Illinois/Chicago native.

Hee hee... living in Wisconsin we've certainly heards about FIBS, especially as we live on the way to Door County.
Of course, we moved here from the south so we are bit of outsiders to start!
PS - Rhu, you are on the Rolls at last!!

Oohh, Door County = smoked Chub!!! Drool.
John, thanks very much for your efforts.
Yayyy, finally on the rolls.
Count Rhuveinus will now organize his armies . . . to get ready for the Return of Unklar. The Mystic Enclave is reforming . . .
Good dragons are returning.
Aristobulus leads us.
Murlynd has joined us. He gave Count Rhuveinus a hog leg.
Sir Robilar has been spotted at the Green Dragon Inn.
