Picked up the C&C Player's Handbook, Monsters & Treasure, and Assault on Blacktooth Ridge today.
Likewise, my wife ordered me the last two issues of Crusader magazine from TLG, and found me a copy of After Winter's Dark for my upcoming birthday. Yay wife!
So, we'll be starting a full-fledged campaign very soon, by mid-to-late August. We're both very excited, as it will be our first RPGing in almost five years (we've been boardgaming...alot).
Thanks again for all of the earlier advice!

Excellent! Be sure to take a look at the pdf only products, especially the supplemental material for Assault on Blacktooth Ridge:
Return to Blacktooth Ridge
Back to Blacktooth Ridge

Thanks, Matthew and Rhuvein!
I am almost finished with my first read through of the Player's Handbook, and it is really, really inspiring. Likewise, with just a short glance at Assault on Blacktooth Ridge I already have a story idea for the beginning of the campaign.
My wife has decided to play a ranger, maybe elven, so we'll see where this leads...

In our last campaign of 3.5, she was a druid named something like Peach Windstorm. The other characters were a monk (me as an NPC) and a thief (my brother). An odd mix, to say the least, but very successful. The whole of the campaign lasted about nine months, playing about once every other week, and they each ended around fourth-sixth level.
I should be able to get more mileage out of a different mix, and with her starting as a ranger it really bodes well.
