Hi, I will be running a number of C&C games at the upcoming Q-Con XVI in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to include CZ:UW and my own adventure The Secret of Ronan Skerry (shortly to be published by Brave Halfling). There will be around 1,000 people at the convention and I hope to introduce at least 40 people to Castles & Crusades over the course of the weekend.
It would be great if C&C rulebooks would be available to buy at the con (especially if 4th printing PHB is out by end of June?) or at the very least if I could distribute copies of the Quick Start Rules.
There will be a number of FLGS represented at the con, but none of them currently stock C&C.
I tried e-mailing the TLG general enquiry e-mail address for advice on how to make their products available but as yet I haven't received a reply. Is there anyone from TLG reading these boards who can contact me directly to let me know how we can promote C&C at the Con? And would it be possible to send me ~40 copies of the QSR?
Thanks!
How to get C&C books available at convention?
Good luck with that Slithy, and with your module (leading the BHP C&C charge there, I hope to be right behind you) - for what its worth, for the books, i think you may need the fabled McBain - try richard@trolllord.com
By the way, do you know of any other european/uk/ireland based conventions this year? my researches have been pretty drab in their results so far - but i'd like to be wrong
anyway, all the best for your convince and convert mission, let us know how it goes

"Trick on the Tain", right? I look forward to reading/playing it in due course! Nice to meet you!

In Ireland, there is Gaelcon (Dublin), Warpcon (Cork) and Leprecon (Dublin). The latter two are over for this year - Gaelcon should be in October. But Q-Con is the biggest and baddest of the Irish cons (24-26 June in Belfast), and there are a good number of people from Scotland, the rest of the UK and further afield.
In England there is GenCon UK in August; I haven't been though.
