Attention Society Members (or those waiting to hear from me)

Ok, here's the plan:
I'll have time tomorrow to answer e-mails and compile the rest of my data. When that's finished, I will send the Society an e-mail. I will post here, at DF, and at Raven's Keep when that e-mail is sent.
When that is done, if you do not receive the e-mail and you have sent in your registration to the Society, you can let me know and I'll re-enroll you.
I will also be sending targeted e-mails to some folks to gather some data that I'm missing.
Once we've gone through all of that, work on the Domesday Book can begin. I'll open things up to submissions. I plan on it being a quarterly web publication, but if I have the time, and enough submissions, I may put together special editions.
I *will* be drawing upon the community spirit we enjoy as Crusaders for some help with this endeavor. The last thing I want is for this to burn me out and for it to be short-lived. My vision is for this gaming enclave to be close-knit, produce some great material, and act as resources for each other.
And maybe have a few beers in Lake Geneva or Indy one of these years.
The Domesday Book will contain:
- A roster of all C&C Society members, listed alphabetically by state.
The aforementioned e-mail that I am going to send will spell out exactly what information will be listed. You will have the opportunity to opt out of listing any or all of your information if you wish, at that time.
- A selection of articles submitted by Society members.
Only Society members may submit articles. Rules regarding submissions will be made available soon. I'm looking to work with Steve and TLG regarding an article contest, where the best articles appear in an issue of the Crusader and the authors are awarded some prize. The details will be forthcoming when they are finalized. Articles may consist of short adventures, supplemental rules, artwork, game-related commentary, reviews, campaign journals, convention reports, and things of that nature.
I'm sure TLG will host the issues of the Book as they are produced for download, but until that is confirmed, it will be sent as an e-mail attachment.
SO:
Be on the lookout for a e-mail this weekend.
