Oh man, all this time I have avoided this thread because I thought it was about adding more deadly poisons to monsters in C&C (you know, save-or-die stuff).
Guess I missed out.
Eh, there's still enough snacks and beer for ya, hoss. Pull up a chair.

Yea, but C&C IS the best thing since sliced bread
I think C&C is better than sliced bread. Now if we want to talk home made bread, THAT'S a different story!
Generally, I will now post about C&C my opinions, why I like it, examples of why I like it, etc...
The only time I will be negative is when someone is posting complete BS about the game, then I'll just post that they are a total liar/whatever and give my "evidence" that proves they are a liar/whatever.
I got myself permanently banned from rpg.net years ago, and I cannot say I regret it one bit, because most of the people full of "venom" hang, or at least hung, out on that board like circling vultures waiting for the next thread to spoil.
I am told they are considerably better, so apparently their moderators finally got a clue, or they actually got moderators, which I don't think they really had them in the first place, since 2 of them were the biggest asshats around on the board at the time I was booted.

Plus, as Arazmus has proven, a thread is never too old to resurrect, and this thread is still pretty fresh.

I hadn't noticed any venom for C&C on other forums. But then again, I dont frequent other forums, and unfortunately only frequent this one irregularly these days.
I don't understand the bashing of other systems by some folks all that much (though I must admit a fondness for sucker punching 3e from time to time). I'm a gamer who likes several systems and like that there are a multitude of them to choose from. A lot of folks aren't that way any more though.
Even so, C&C remains top notch in my book.

I like several systems myself. But there are just a few that need to be given an honest (IMO) kick in the nads for being total crap or other than as advertised. I've seen some negative posts for C&C, mostly by guys who have never actually played it...it's simply that strange critter on the hill at sunset to fear for it's total awesomeness.

It's an immture, "My game has to be the best and ONLY game," sort of reaction. If you don't like my game, stay away from my table. Simple as that. I'll try different games to say I've tried them. If I like them, I'll play them again. If not, I won't.
