For those in attendance at this year's CotC, Jay has guaranteed his attempt at cracking an empty bottle of Jameson's whiskey over his head, a la' Bluto from Animal House, at the end of the weekend's festivities.

So, maybe a change in plans. My nephew got asked to be in my cousin's wedding and it is the same weekend as CotC. I will be going to the Con, but I will probably be coming alone this year now.

I'm seriously considering going, as I have friends who will be driving up, and I can ride with them.

I just posted on the FaceBook MBs for Con-on-the-Cob that I need to get my act in gear. Probably, but I'm not sure what I should run yet. Plus, if all of you swanky people are running a ton of games, I sure don't want to miss any of them. So it's kind of hard to decide what to do at this point.

Any thoughts?

Rigon, are you still running that Fields of Battle game? Have you registered it yet?

BTW, COB is going to be packed this year. I'm wondering how all of this is going to fit in the same hotel?!

I haven't sign up to run it yet, but I plan to run at least 2 sessions.

I really should get on it thought.

As I posted on my FB, I finally got off my lazy butt and registered for the Con, as well as a few panels in the art show. I haven't looked at playing or running any games yet. I'd considered running something, but haven't given it any thought since then and would assume that time's running out. In which case, it's highly unlikely I'll be running an adventure.

I will, however, be drinking and drawing and swimming and drinking and gaming and karaoking and wearing tights... And maybe some drinking if there's time.

I didn't quite catch your drift in your last post, Jay. Just to make sure I'm clear on this, you may, perhaps, by chance, possibly, be drinking when you're at the Cob this year, is that right?

*And on another note, am I the only one around here that looks at the monoker under Rigon's username and starts singing in his head,...

I've regretted having remained stone sober at all three of the previous CotC's I've attended.

Things are looking more hopeful about me going again this year. I hope to know for sure in the next few weeks.

I was just being fish f*c*s, Rhu CotC is traditionally a 4-day blur. It's a three-headed holiday! But by all means, bring the booberry. Haha! And your swim trunks.

Let me know soon. I've held off on getting a room since my nephew bailed on me and if you area go, then we can split a room like last year. If not I'll get my own.

I don't think you'll have trouble finding a roomie, Chuck. Hell, I'll come stay with you if Glad forgets to trim his toenails again this year.

BTW Jaybird, I'm going to keep my promise from last year. I will buy ya a bottle of whatever you are looking to guzzle at CotC. It was your kindness and copius amounts of SoCo that kept filling my glass. You sir, have earned it!

Oh Omote, you had me at "guzzle". Jameson is my poison of choice, but they didn't have any at the Giant Eagle when we made our supply run last year. Hence the SoCo.

I'll accept, only if you help me kill that m**o. Then it's TLG dance party time!

Which reminds me, I need a new hat.

Since Jameson is also my drink of choice, I will be more than happy to oblige! Wiskey Sours for everybody... Omote and Jaybird do Jameson straight.

I believe last year was the most fun I've had at a CotC yet. The addition of Serl, Omote, Tree and Rigon was superb (no offense, Glad). Let's top it this year!
