Just owning the book gives you a +1 bonus to CHA.
And I saw that joker today, at a used book store, for $20. Might have to go back

I have not really been looking for much lately, due to a variety of factors, but I did manage to get a Trolls and Trollkin which is a RuneQuest! book released by Chaosium in 1978. Basically a computer-generated list of around 170 unique entries for this particular monster.

Just downloaded Crusader 13 this week to give The Crusader a try. Gary's How It All Began Article is tremendous. Have read it twice now.

Come, my friends,
'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths
Of all the western stars, until I die.

Talisman Dungeon (Revised 4th Edition). The best version of Talisman, hands down. Fantasy Flight games got it so right.

Well today I treated meself to a bit of a fling and picked up some new C&C charsheets and the 3rd print PHB.
So I'll be reading that tonight.
Yes, I know, there's a 4th on the way but I really like the older covers much better. I have to hand it to the binding quality of TLG; my 1st-print has been flipped, read, drooled on by the dog, and thumbed through since January 2005 and is still in practically-mint condition.
First glances say- ooh, new art! Snazzy art!

I am rereading my Oathbound setting books, because it occurred to me that I can tie in the Forge with my campaign end game scenario's.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Yeah, something abut the C&C books makes me think of library book bindings. They are durable as hell. Mine have suffered immeasurable abuse and still look all pretty.

Mine has been dropped a few times so the corners on the covers are a bit bent. But the binding? Steel.

Just a quick run down on things I've picked up and tossed aside while plowing through this stack of SJGames books.
Crusader #17: Definately brightened my day.
Kobold 1/4-ly #9: Last issue I'll ever get of this series.
d6 Adventures Locations: I love map books.
JSA: Darkness Falls & JSA Classified: Honor Among Thieves: don't have anything to do with gaming but distracted me none the less. Theoritically could be used as source material for Mutants & Masterminds or another superhero RPG. (JSA = Justice Society of America)

Can you explain? I was tempted to subscribe with their new dice deal.
I'm reading Towers of Adventure and Engineering Dungeons.
Dear lord, are these cool. I love these kind of CK tools. Well done, Jim and Robert.
I've haven't delved into ED much yet, but it looks great. What I like about ToA is that not only is it handy for it's stated purpose (to generate a tower adventure), it also will be a great CK resource all-around... need some PCs or NPCs? Just check volume 2. Need a treasure horde quick? Check volume 3. Very neat. I'm a bit puzzled by the two d10s included as there doesn't seem to be a d100 table per say. But, hell, I'm not one to turn away dice.
ED looks equally as useful. I really like it's systematic approach at dungeon building.

I got my Swords and Wizardry softback over the weekend and have been looking over it. I like the Lulu bindings and love how the book looks and feels.

Charlie is very upset with how much 4E content was in Issue 9. Something like 14 pages.
Personally I liked it. I got lots of cool new ideas to adapt to my C&C games. Including from the 4E material.
Thats the sucky thing about C&C, material from any source, irregardless of edition, is easy to use. So C&C has actually greatly expanded my "temptations" on which to spend my all too little money on.

Hey BD, How's it play? I have been curious about it but a bit wary of the 2d6 mechanics.

Hey guys, I am going to try to get Jason Vey in here to answer this question. The short answer is that, no, you cannot get it from the website. I directly paypald Vey to get my copy but I know that he is releasing more copies so I've emailed him to come let you guys know how to get a copy if you're interested.
JG- I don't know how it plays yet, sorry chief. I like the way it reads, but I've not played yet. I plan on fixing that pretty soon, and then will report back about the experience. Like I said, I'm liking what I've read so far.
