soon, I hope. if the gods of electricity would ever calm down we might get some work done! power to the print shop has been down all day and more tornadoes, wind, lightning coming down now at the main troll den. hopefully it'll calm down soon so we can see where we are with it all. until then we are just trying to stay dry!

Is there going to be a M&T 4th printing? If so, are they going to fix all the spell-like abilities I posted?

Are the Trolls planning on having a book of spells, races, classes, or planes?

Steve dropped by my thread and said he'd send me out a fixed M&T of Aihrde OGL declaration. Is this ever going to happen?

How come Serelan's Class Deconstruction didn't make it into the CKG? Will it or anything similar ever be publish, so we can balance our homemade classes?

What is the Trolls policy on fanmade material? Can we claim compatibility? Is using the name Castles & Crusades allowed throughout it as long as it is attributed to Troll Lord Games? Can we slap the official logo on it?

@Peter: Thanks for your questions. I will get with the appropriate people and get answers to you as quick as we can. As you may or may not know, we've had some storms and tornadoes blow through there this past week and power has been sporadic at best. So we are behind on a lot of things, so it may take a few days to answer all of them, but rest assured i'll get back to you ASAP. Thanks, Tim

Are the Trolls available for parties?

Sorry, couldn't help but ask.

Depends on the kind of party you got in mind, Omote. And I must tell you up front that I only want purple M&M's in my trailer and Davis will want someone to cut his toenails for him. Daily...

Haha. The pre-party events seem like a party unto themselves ;) Well, that is if you like custom M&Ms and toe nails.

Any word yet on the ORIGINS show in Columbus OH?

We are planning to be there, as of right now. We've even confirmed a special guest, Mr. Tom "FD" Tullis has promised to come help with the booth and to arm wrestle. lol

LordSeurek wrote:Just a quick note Tim. My CKG arrived in the mail today, yeah!

Very glad to have it, although the pages in the book are warped, BAD..... Also, the text is a little off. Very clear and sorta bold in the inside part of the page (close to the bind), but its gets very light as in the first column (closer to the edge of the book). No worries, it can be read. Maybe I'll stick heavy books on top of it to try and get the warp out of the pages :)

Thanks for all the help Tim, much appreciated!

Anyone else get their the CKG that was warped? Maybe its the Canadian air....

The cover of both of my CKGs were not warped, however, the pages inside were somewhat curled. Not a major deal as I can place something heavy on them or put them into the slipsleeve case to straighten it out.

I did discover I do not have a 4th print hard cover though. Only the flipbook and the colored version.

So my favorite online store, www.superherogameland.com, now has the CKG! I am holding off on ordering my hardcopy because I want the slipcase set (with the new matte texture on my phb and m&t!).

I was just wondering the status of this set?

I can wait I suppose. I think the new matte texture on this set of books will be super awesome.

Overall I was impressed with my Complete set w/slip cover...though I was sad to see that the slipcover's ARTWORK was just a colored paper picture that was just pasted onto the slipcover(or however they put it on). It seems a little cheap to me in that regards. But I like the look of the matte covers regardless (and its my first print copy of C&C rulebooks..YAY!).

I was informed to post this question here where the big trolls play:

Dear Trolls,

I bought the M&T 2nd ($15.95) and PHB 3rd pdfs ($10) in mid to late 2008 on DrivethruRPG and I am wondering if there is a way to upgrade the purchased pdfs to the new releases? As I understand it the newer versions have some updated information, corrected typos as well as better layout (which I felt was lacking in the releases I own).

Cheers

Bye papercut. I'm sorry you feel entitled to updated products that others are paying for, particularly when there was no implied or stated contract giving you access to future versions (yes versions, this is not a simple errata) of these products. Enjoy your new game.

Protip: Insulting the guys who you are trying to get something from is counterproductive and rude.

Papercut,

I do apologize for not getting back to you on this. It is rare I work on weekends and this had escaped my notice.

To answer your questions. No. We do not offer free upgrades/downloads for product unless specifically noted in the copy for said product. To date, only one product offers such, that is the CKG. Concerning your product in particular, the layout changed but this does not in any way detract from your printing (I still use the 1st printing myself); the content added to the 4th printing is all offered on the site for free download.

Thank you,
Steve

Yes. I'm going to try to run one of my giant 20+ people games if I can get it together. But it will likely not be on the schedule, I'll have to announce it here and keep folks posted.
