Player's' Handbook 5th Edition

I bought a digital copy of C&C PHB off of RPGNow. When the 5th printing comes out, will I need to re-buy the book, it will it be in my digital locker on the site?

I would think you would need to rebuy the book. As it will be a new format and have some updates in it.

According to the Kickstarter page, the only major change is the cover.

From Kickstarter:

The 5th printing sports a new full bleed cover by artist Peter Bradley. The interior of the books contains minor text edits and some few rules clarifications. Otherwise the interior of the Players Handbook is much like the 4th Printing.

That doesn't sound like its worth a whole new purchase for 4th edition owners.

No. Any rule changes (will be minor) can be edited in to your existing pdf copy. No need to purchase again.

I wonder if there will be a 4th the 5th edition errata.

There should be. Like Arduin said, there may update the pdf, in which case all you have to do is redownload.

I'll have to double check with Steve on this, but I think pdf purchasers get updated pdfs for new printings. I'm pretty sure pdf's buyers get updates for something or other. Fyi, Its a minor point, but C&C has had only one edition.

The PH is slated to go to press on June 25. It should be shipped to us by last week of July and at Gencon. We will not release it until all kickstarter pledges have been filled.
