It looks SWEET!
I just got it yesterday and will take a look after I read the adventure in the core book.
if my review is 5 stars, I'll review it too, and if not, I'll keep my opinion to myself. :D

Ummm... I'm sure it's a great adventure but I have to say, it sounds like a title for bad soft porn sci fi movie.

How does the adventure connect with the adventure in the back of the core book?

I didn't get that impression at all. I think the adventure, in the book, is an introductory adventure and this module is separate from that. Maybe the first in a series?

Day of the Worm is a direct sequel to the adventure in the core book and assumes you have run that adventure. However, DotW can be used on its own as a standalone module with a tiny bit of tweaking (which is covered in the module's text). I don't know that it's going to be the first in a series, though I can't say for certain that I'll never use some of the NPCs again.

I was a bit disappointed, personally, in some of the editing and layout choices, but the module runs quite well (at least, it did for my home group). There's no keying done on the two maps (the unlabeled map is supposed to be the tomb; you could place the encounter areas anywhere in there, really). It was based off of this map, which is the one I used when I ran at home:

The aircraft hangar, I used the following map when I ran it at home:

I've been trying to get Steve to approve another module which is truly standalone and quite different--it's a location-based adventure entitled "Temple of the Red God."

Jason,
Thanks for the links to the maps you used. Those in the adventure are pretty much useless (IMO). Might as well not even include them. At least with yours I've some idea of what each room is used for.

Yeah, I guess I'm going to have to really brush up my personal map-making skills for these manuscripts, which sucks because I'm horrible at doing it...
