Over 65 THOUSAND and over 540 backers!

Post by Treebore »

Hot damn! That is awesome! Congrats TLG! Now the pressure is on to make us all happy with well edited, well presented books!

Now to see if they go over $70,000!
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

As of 9:30 am on the east coast, the Kickstarter stood at 575 backers for $68,263 with 13 hours to go. It would be something to see it break 600 backers.

16 backers to go to get to 600 and $1,031 to get to $70,000. 11 hours to go. It's gonna be a tight one.

I think we can do it! It's getting very close to that $70K mark, but for me the best would be the 600 plus backers if we can do it. Very exciting!

I think we are going to hit both marks. 8 backers and $181 away. Hell, I'm seriously thinking of upping my pledge. If only there was another week for this, I'd definitely up it to the next level.

I hear you. I only went in for the new screen and some adventures as I really don't need the core books, but man, everything you get with that $99 pledge is unbelievable.

That's just it. I don't need a new CKG (I have 2 that I barely use), but the stretch goals for the $99 level are killer good. Maybe I can sell off all of my 4th Crusade stuff to justify it.

With 5 hours to go, we are at $74,000! Only $1K to go to get that next level busted wide open! It's not to late to Join the Fray and get in on these great stretch rewards! http://bit.ly/3siskick

Well, I have given, potentially, over 20,000 gamers notice that this is almost over, so hopefully it will generate enough last minute backers to get there.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

This is mind blowing. Wonder how many backers are new to the system? We could be looking at a fair number of new players here. Very happy to see this get so much support.

Wow.

I was considering backing at the $45 level, but the add-ons made the $99 level a no-brainer for me, so I pledged at the $99 level with 14 minutes left!

Yeah the CKG was kind of a book I was forced to get rather than wanted. I mean I'm not complaining, I'm sure having the PH and M&T in colour and a new layout would've eventually drove me crazy enough to buy the colour version of the CKG. Plus all that you get at the $99 level more than justified opting in rather than going for the $45. I know that the Kickstarter wasn't specifically designed with my needs in mind.

It is a fantastic deal for those who are jumping on, for the first time.

With my 4th printing and my HH PH I essentially have two books that can be left out, for the players, to look up rules and what not.

P.S. If anyone's hand gets tired signing all those copies you can ship non-signed copies to me as I'd prefer them not signed. ;)

Hey guys,

This was a fantastic finish.

THANK YOU ALL FOR SPREADING THE WORD!

Without all the tireless work you guys do this stuff would be 10 times harder!

Well, I have to say my primary reason was to HOPEFULLY get the PHB, M&T, and CKG in Leather. Hope it's nice leather. Got the 3.5 ones in leather (and previous C&C leatherettes for PH and M&T) which were very nice. Hoping these are very nice as well.

Most of the stretch goals really aren't something I'm big on, but those weren't my primary interests in the KS.

I have to say I was totally awestruck in how well they finally did with the KS though. 685 backers and $83,573.
