Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
I am planning on running my game this weekend. However, I wanted to provide all involved a warning. My father-in-law had an accident this weekend and is in the hospital and not doing well. My family and I will be going to visit my wife's family this weekend. My plans to play may be thrown out the window pending on how long my wife wants to stay with her family on Sunday.
Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
Thanks for the heads up. Hope you father-in-law gets better. Take care of your family.nwelte1 wrote:I am planning on running my game this weekend. However, I wanted to provide all involved a warning. Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
Update: They moved my father-in-law to a recovery unit, but the family will not be meeting until 1:30 in the afternoon. It is a 3.5 hours ride home from where we are meeting, so I do not see any way that I will be home in time to game. I hate to cancel for a second session in a row, but I think I have any choice.

Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
Probably be late, if I make it at all. The wife was gone all weekend and just got home a couple of hours ago. Spending some quality time with her.

Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
Can you imagine what size the lances would have to be? I doubt my Knight could wield them. He'd probably have to develop a support harness system of some kind.

That's ok, you didn't miss anything
EXCEPT US AGGROING EVERY GIANT IN THE ENTIRE STEADING
Except for a strangely hippyish Cloud Giant who wonders why we can't all just get along.

So, you missed that part about me driving 9 hours to get home after having Jay try to pickle my liver all weekend.Aergraith wrote:That's ok, you didn't miss anything

It's those three hours you blacked out in Jaybird's room and for which you have no memory that has us wonderingRigon wrote:So, you missed that part about me driving 9 hours to get home after having Jay try to pickle my liver all weekend.Aergraith wrote:That's ok, you didn't miss anything

Our plan was simple, but fiendishly clever: Make all the giants so mad at us they all rush us at once, and we don't have to chase themAergraith wrote:That's ok, you didn't miss anything

Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
With how often he cancels we should change the schedule to "Whenever he can run it." But by the schedule, we were supposed to play last week, so next week, not today.Rigon wrote:Is this a game day or is it next week?

Game for sure this weekend. No funerals, graduations, confirmations, or baptisms. Finally a weekend home.
