Crud, still short to get my next level ...

Great game and great fight ... Especially when Lupa (befitting the swashbuckler bravo that he is) lumped on the beasts back and stabbed down sinking Drado into the dragon's hide ... only to have the beast twist and turn in the air and head back into the lava (I wonder where the DM got that idea ....)

Then the archer cleric rolls a nat 20 to shoot the beast in the lava (I picture it as the arrow hitting right as the beast burst out again)

& yes great use of fairy fire - like it was pointed out, so often that additional +1 to hit can be the deference in a few more hits or the beast escaping -

Yup, I'm with you, still short of leveling. It was a good fight, and we had some nice, smart teamwork going. Strange as it seems, I think that is the first dragon I've ever fought, other than in the Balder's Gate video game.

All I have to look forward to is bth, hp, and one more barbarian ability, then I should go to the barbarian retirement home. So no hurry.

We need to take stock of our "earnings" from the past few encounters and unload back in town. The scroll obviously goes to Aeschelon. The Potion of Levitation can go to anyone. We can sell the +1 Hide Armor. The rest can be sold or traded.

I have had a few character go up against a dragon before, and they NEVER went that well. However, I did tend to play lower level lower magic games. With that, I have never fought an old beast of a dragon, the once or twice I gone up against them it has been 'oh pooooop, RUN' .

Strangely (or not surprisingly as I normally played paladins back in the day) I have fought a lot more demons and devils than dragons ... and died at the hands of a lot of them too

Hey guys, I hate to do this, but I've been fighting a headache all day. I was hoping it would get better, but it hasn't. I'm going to cancel tonight. Sorry.

Hmmm... yeah, I can do that. We need to talk about options of interest next time.

Sorry again about last night guys. I had this dull thump in behind my eyes all day and nothing seemed to help. I'm a little better today. The thump has seemed to move to the base of my skull. Probably just the changing season or something atmospheric. Hopefully it clears up soon.

I got just a little over 3 hours of sleep last night. So if I don't show up for the game its because I passed out.

Hey, I just realized that next week is production week for the spring play. The set is mostly finished and I should get it finished by Saturday (it's extremely simple). I am hopiong to still run the big showdown, but I don't know if I will be able to. Tree may want to shcedule to run Vitorious next week also and I can run my game the week after. We can talk about it tonight.

It will all depend on what Mike can make it to. If nothing else, I can run Traveller as another alternate game for us. This time in Jewell Sector of the Imperium.

Just a reminder, that I am not running my game tonight. With any luck, I will be able to "bamph" into the Victorious game at some point.

I was amazed at everyone's restraint last night, especially mine, at not pointing out how right I was about us being better prepared than Rigon was.

Well, all except for that stupid hold person spell ... Fear and hold person .... my weakness. I don't think I've saved against them one time with Lupa ...

Thanks by the way for dragging me into the room & safety before things went worse for me !

Teamwork! Plus they were hitting me pretty hard too. Figured we both better change up the situation before it was too late.

Not sure who's game it is this week, but I won't be able to attend as I'm traveling all week for work. Sarosious' character sheet is up to date. Have fun!
